About Dr. Alison Duke
Dr. Alison Wolfgram Duke has been a resident of Barrington, Illinois, since 1986, minus 12 years for tertiary education and to pursue dairy production medicine in New Zealand and Wisconsin. Dr. Duke attended the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She studied chemistry at Kenyon College and has a Master of Science degree in animal science from the University of Arizona. She has been a general practice, companion animal veterinarian in the northwest suburbs of Chicago since 2007.
When not seeing patients Dr. Duke can be found running, gardening, or leading a Girl Scout Troop meeting. Dr. Duke is the Nature Lady at Countryside Elementary School, where her son and daughter attend and where she and her husband went as well. The Duke family includes one dog, one cat, six chickens and one leopard gecko. Dr. Duke looks forward to resuming the development of strong client relationships – something that was severely stifled during COVID.
